AS / NZS ISO 31000 Risk Management - Principles and Guidelines - Tasmania

Description

If you are a gas entity and intend to operate a gas facility, you must submit a safety and operating plan. The plan must comply with this and other standards set out in legislation.

A gas entity is a person that holds a Gas Supply Industry Licence. A gas facility is a system, service or facility that relates to the distribution, control, conveyance, measurement or retail sale of gas.

This standard outlines guidelines on managing risk faced by organisations and provides a common approach to managing any type of risk and is not industry or sector specific. This standard may be used throughout the life of the organisation and can be applied to any activity, including decision-making at all levels.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
