Asbestos Assessor Licence - Tasmania

Description

You will require this licence if you intend to act as an asbestos assessor.

This licence entitles you to carry out:

  • clearance inspections
  • air monitoring during Class A asbestos removal work
  • issuing clearance certificates after the completion of Class A asbestos removal work. 
Class A asbestos removal work includes the removal of friable asbestos or asbestos-contaminated dust.
You may not be required to apply for this licence if you hold an equivalent licence in another jurisdiction.

  • provide details of your industry experience in the past two years
  • provide two supporting references of your industry experience

  • pay the prescribed fee.
