Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code - Tasmania

You may need to comply with this code if you operate or own a dairy farm. A dairy farm is any premises where cows are kept or milked for the purpose of producing milk for profit or sale.

The code is a collection of individual food standards, and covers:

  • standards which apply to all foods
  • standards affecting particular classes of foods
  • food hygiene issues specific to Australia
  • standards for the primary production of food in Australia.
