Busking includes playing a musical instrument, pavement art, singing, conjuring, juggling, mime, mimicry, dancing, puppetry, performance art, recitation and other theatrical or visual activities which attract, or are conducted to attract a donation (and not a set fee).
Please note, as a busker you are not permitted to:
- perform a political or religious speech
- obstruct a footpath
- use any form of sound amplification or electrically amplified instruments
- wear or display any advertising matter.
You must not perform within 100 metres of premises after being requested by the occupier to cease, unless you obtain a permit from the Council to continue.
