You must comply with this standard if you intend to register a place or premises where magnetic resonance imaging apparatus and nuclear magnetic resonance units are stored or operated. A place includes vacant land, premises and vehicles.
In order for a certificate of compliance to be issued the radiation source must be shown to fully comply with the requirements in the standard.
