You must comply with this standard if you intend to assess a place where x-ray radiation apparatus is to be usually or primarily used or stored. A place is defined in legislation to include vacant land, premises and a vehicle.
In order for a certificate of compliance to be issued, the place must be shown to fully comply with the requirements in this standard.
