You must comply with this standard if you intend to assess a place where radioactive material, in the form of a source for high dose rate brachytherapy, is to be used or stored. A place is defined as including vacant land, premises and a vehicle.
In order for a certificate of compliance to be issued, the place must be shown to fully comply with the requirements in this standard.
