Code of Practice for Fuel Price Boards - Tasmania

If you intend to operate a petrol station you must comply with this code of practice. The code aims to ensure that:

  • the price advertised on fuel price boards is the standard retail price, rather than a discounted price only available in limited circumstances
  • the price on the price board is the same as the one displayed on the bowser.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
