Code of Practice for the Disposal of Radioactive Wastes by the User - Tasmania

Description

You must comply with this code if you intend to be involved in the disposal and storage of radioactive wastes containing relatively low levels of radioactivity, or radionuclides of short half-life, such as those generated by many current medical, industrial and research uses of radioactivity in Australia.

This code recommends practices to manage wastes in a way to minimise the exposure of persons to radiation to below prescribed limits.
