- placing or using any equipment, instrument or device likely to hinder or obstruct fish
- injuring a fish-pass
- impairing the efficiency of a fish-pass
- cutting through or destroying a dam, floodgate or sluice with the intention of destroying or taking fish.
A fish-pass is an artificial structure that is built with the intention of providing fish with a means of access to parts of a waterway that may be obstructed (such as by a man-made dam).
