Dairy Farmer's Licence - Tasmania

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to own or operate a dairy farm. A dairy farm is any premises where cows are kept for the purpose of producing milk to sell for profit. Where the licence is issued to a dairy farm owner, any persons other than the owner receiving income directly from licensed factories for the sale of milk, such as share farmers, will also be deemed to be licensed.

Granting of this licence is conditional to complying with food safety and effluent management programs and codes of practice as determined by the Authority.
