Description

You will need this licence if you intend to exhibit firearms at specified premises.

While you will be permitted to collect firearms under this licence, you will need to apply to the agency if you intend to carry or use any firearm your licence permits you to collect. This may include using or carrying a firearm at a commemorative or historical event held on an approved range.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be a fit and proper person
  • have satisfactorily completed an approved firearms safety course
  • meet the storage and safety requirements
  • have appropriate professional indemnity insurance.

You will need to indicate the purpose of the exhibition in your application, and list the locations where the firearms will be exhibited.

It is a condition of this licence that the licence holder is familiar, and willing to comply with, all relevant and current state and commonwealth legislation.
