Greyhound Racing Registrations - Tasmania

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to own a racing greyhound or provide services associated with greyhound racing.

Registration is needed to become an owner, stud master, breeder, trainer, catcher, attendant or syndicate member. Greyhound racing facilities such as trial tracks must also be registered.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for registration as an owner, attendant or trainer you must:

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • satisfy any accreditation or other specified requirements.

To be eligible for registration as a catcher or provisional attendant you must:

  • be at least 14 years of age
  • if under 18 years of age, provide written consent from a parent or guardian who is over 18 years of age
  • satisfy any accreditation or other specified requirements.
