You are required to provide notification if you intend to install a fuel-burning appliance (e.g. a wood-heater, stove, or any other appliance that burns oil or solid fuel). The person who undertakes the installation must also notify the Authority that the installation has been carried out in accordance with current Tasmanian legislation and the National Construction Code, within a specified time period after the completion of the installation.
