Description

You will require this licence if you intend to keep several dogs, whether for commercial or private reasons. The definition of several dogs is more than four working dogs or more than two non-working dogs, over the age of six months.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

 

  • Provide for health, welfare and adequate control of all dogs on your premises;
  • Provide information on the breeds, kinds and maximum number of dogs that may be kept on your premises;
  • Submit the appropriate application form;
  • Comply with any conditions as determined by the Council;
  • Your application must be published 28 days prior to finalisation of the licence; and
  • Pay the required fees.
