Description

A kennel licence is required if more than 2 dogs or more than 4 working dogs over the age of 6 months are to be kept at a property.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

To be eligible for this licence you must:

Provide for health, welfare and adequate control of all dogs on your premises;
Provide information on the breeds, kinds and maximum number of dogs that may be kept on your premises;
Submit the appropriate application form;
Comply with any conditions as determined by the Council;
Your application must be published 28 days prior to finalisation of the licence; and
Pay the required fees.
