You may need this licence if you intend to use a Permanent Timber Production Zone area for any of the following:
- operating a business
- collecting bush food for commercial purposes
- practising agistment
- operating an apiary
- accessing private land.
If you are operating an apiary site, please be aware that regulations under the Animal Health Act apply to the import of bees, apiary products or used apiary equipment. You may be required to provide a health certificate to the relevant Agency for any imported goods. You must also apply to the relevant Agency for registration as a beekeeper.
