Description

You will need this licence if you intend to operate electronic gaming machines or keno at premises that are licensed to sell or supply liquor for consumption.

You will need to specify in your application whether you are applying to operate keno, electronic gaming machines, or both keno and electronic gaming machines.

A venue licence holder must comply with the Responsible Gambling Code of Practice.

To be eligible for this licence you must show that your premises is suitable for the management and operation of gaming facilities.

You will also need to demonstrate that you have the financial resources and have, or have access to, the technical resources and ability to conduct gaming activities of a kind sought through an endorsement of the licence.

Additional requirements will depend on whether you are applying on behalf of a company, a partnership or as a sole trader.

You must attach plans to your application which show the locations of buildings and car park, and a floor plan of the venue indicating keno terminals, coin change machine locations and gaming areas.

You will also need to provide a certificate of registration for your business name, and proof that the venue in which you will operate is owned or leased by you.
