You will need this licence if you intend to sell alcohol on the premises of a club for consumption on or off the premises. A club licence is usually issued to sporting or RSL clubs, and sale of alcohol is restricted to members of the club and other prescribed persons (e.g. guests of club members, competitors in or spectators of a sporting event hosted by the club, etc.).
This licence allows for alcohol to be sold between 5am and midnight on any day. If you intend to sell alcohol outside these times, you will need an out-of-hours permit.
If you are planning to allow patrons to BYO (bring their own) alcohol, please consult your local council for compliance issues.
