Liquor Permit - Out-of-Hours Permit - Tasmania

Description

You will need this permit if you operate licensed premises and intend to supply alcohol at any time between midnight and 5.00am on any day. This permit authorises the sale of alcohol on the premises between specified times and subject to conditions specified in the permit.

The agency will not grant this permit unless satisfied that the sale of alcohol will not cause undue annoyance, disturbance, or the occurrence of disorderly conduct in the surrounding area.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to apply for this permit you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be a fit and proper person
  • ensure any associates are fit and proper persons
  • able to exercise control over the sale and consumption of liquor on the premises.

The permit will only be issued to the person who applies on behalf of the licensed business premises. General, on, off and club liquor licence holders are able to apply.
