You will need to notify the agency if you intend to use, handle or store schedule 11 hazardous chemicals in a quantity or group greater than their manifest quantity in your workplace.
Schedule 11 chemicals, as outlined in the regulations, include:
- flammable liquids, solids and gases
- self-reactive substances
- pyrophoric and self-heating substances
- oxidising liquids and solids
- organic peroxides
- acutely toxic or corrosive substances
- unstable substances.
