Description

You will need to notify the agency if you intend to use, handle or store schedule 11 hazardous chemicals in a quantity or group greater than their manifest quantity in your workplace.

Schedule 11 chemicals, as outlined in the regulations, include:

  • flammable liquids, solids and gases
  • self-reactive substances
  • pyrophoric and self-heating substances
  • oxidising liquids and solids
  • organic peroxides
  • acutely toxic or corrosive substances
  • unstable substances.
