Owner Builder Permit - Tasmania

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to carry out building work on your property by yourself. The types of building work you can undertake under this permit include:

  • constructing a class 10 retaining wall or swimming pool
  • building a new home or adding a new room to an existing home
  • building a prefabricated or non-prefabricated shed / garage / outbuilding with a floor area greater than 36 or 18 square metres, respectively.
