Permit to Graze Livestock - Burnie City Council - Tasmania

Description

You will require this permit if you intend to graze animals on a road, highway, recreation reserve, reserve, park or public place. Leases or licences to use Crown Land are available through the Department, if your intended use is compatible with the reasons why the Government is continuing to own the land.

Please consider that the cover provided to councils under their Insurance scheme may not extend to liability incurred by farmers who graze their stock on roadsides.
