Permit to Supply Needles and Syringes - Tasmania


You will need this permit to supply needles or syringes as part of the needle and syringe program (NSP). The NSP is a public health initiative to minimise the spread of blood-borne viruses HIV and hepatitis B and C among people who inject drugs and the wider community.

  • community service organisations
  • neighbourhood and community houses
  • Tasmanian Aboriginal health services
  • regional hospitals
  • councils
  • youth organisations
  • pharmacies.
