Description

You will need to apply for this permission if you intend to undertake an activity with a level 2 environmental impact. Level two environmental impacts are prescribed uses or developments of lands that need the permission of the relevant planning authority. These include particular activities that relate to the following classes:

  • petroleum and chemical
  • manufacturing and mineral processing
  • waste treatment and disposal
  • food production and animal and plant product processing
  • extractive activities
  • materials handling
  • other practices that have a qualifying degree of environmental impact.
