You will need this registration if you are a manufacturer, importer, or supplier of items of plant and intend to supply certain types of plant, or alter an existing registered plant design or if you are in management or control of an item of plant that requires registration.

Manufacturers, importers, and suppliers of plant are prohibited from supplying these plant unless the design of that plant is registered. Registration may not be required if the plant design is registered in another state.
