You will need this registration if you intend to design certain types of plant, or alter an existing registered plant design.

Plant that needs to be design registered includes:

  • amusement devices
  • boom-type elevating work platforms
  • building maintenance units
  • concrete placing booms
  • gas cylinders
  • mast climbing work platforms
  • passenger ropeways.
