You will need this registration if you are a manufacturer, importer, or supplier of items of plant and intend to supply certain types of plant, or alter an existing registered plant design.
Items of plant may include machinery, equipment, appliances, containers, implements and tools, and any components or anything fitted or connected to those things. Plant that needs to be design registered includes:
- amusement devices
- boom-type elevating work platforms
- building maintenance units
- concrete placing booms
- gas cylinders
- mast climbing work platforms
- passenger ropeways.
