Property Protection Permit - Tasmania


You will need this permit if you intend to poison, trap, shoot or take protected wildlife to prevent damage to property or crops. This permit may also authorise the sale or disposal of wildlife taken in the process of preventing damage.

Take returns must be submitted to the Department within 28 days following the expiry of a permit. Further permits will not be issued unless returns for previous permits are submitted.
