Special Purposes Wildlife Permit (Aviculture) - Tasmania

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to possess, transfer, purchase, sell or breed protected bird species. This permit covers all Tasmanian protected bird species.

You will need to notify the agency of the transfer, purchase, sale, breeding, death and / or receipt of protected species. Special purposes wildlife permit holders will need to apply for separate authorisation to release restricted wildlife from captivity.
