Radiation Protection Standards - Tasmania

Description

You will need to comply with the relevant Radiation Protection Standard if you intend to store or use radiation sources. These standards are also used when assessing whether a place or thing meets relevant radiation registration and compliance requirements. 

There are various standards which cover radiation protection requirements for different places and things, including:

  • x-ray equipment
  • equipment containing sealed radioactive material
  • places where radiation equipment is used or material stored.
