You will be required to comply with these recommendations if you are an anaesthetist or medical practitioner working in a private hospital responsible for patient monitoring during anaesthesia. These recommendations outline the required monitoring and appropriate devices to properly care for patients undergoing general anaesthesia, major regional anaesthesia or sedation. Some or all of the recommendations may need to be exceeded depending on the results of the patient assessment at the pre-anaesthesia consultation.
