You need to be registered to practise as a physiotherapist. Registered physiotherapists undertake the remediation and rehabilitation of injuries or disabilities and can use the protected titles of physiotherapist and physical therapist.
There are four different types of registration offered to practitioners:
- general
- limited
- non-practising
- student.
There is one endorsement for acupuncture available for physiotherapists with additional qualifications and expertise.
