Registration as a Surveyor - Tasmania

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to practice as a land surveyor in Tasmania. This includes undertaking work in cadastral, engineering, hydrographic, mining, geodetic and other surveying specialities.

If you hold a current equivalent registration in another Australian state or territory you may be entitled to the Automatic Mutual Recognition Scheme. If your registration is from non-participating states or New Zealand, you may be eligible to apply for this registration under mutual recognition arrangements.

  • be registered as a candidate with the prescribed institute
  • hold a certificate of competency for your surveying speciality

  • have submitted a series of pre-examination surveys for mentoring purposes.
