If you intend of listing your property as visitor accommodation in Tasmania:
- read the Director's Determination on Short or Medium Term Visitor Accommodation
- check with your council if you need a planning permit and / or fill in the self-assessment form
- speak to a building surveyor if your building is over 200m2 as you may be required to change the use of the building.
If you choose to advertise your visitor accommodation on a booking platform, the platform may be required to collect information about your premises.
