You will require this licence if you intend to have, use or permit the use of a stable on your land. This licence applies if your land is situated in a residential zone.

To be eligible for this licence, you must:

 

  • specify the place and manner (including any enclosure) the animal(s) will be kept
  • submit a block plan of the property, including measurements and showing the portion of the property to be used
  • place an advertisement in the public notices section of the local newspaper
  • submit any other information Council may require
  • pay any required fees.
