You will need this permit if you intend to do traffic management in the State road reservation. Traffic management includes undertaking traffic control activities at work sites.
Roads within the state road reservation are those that are a part of the state-owned road network. This network primarily consists of roads that provide connectivity between cities, major towns, rural catchments and key marine and air transport hubs.
The permit gives approval for the temporary installation of traffic control devices and advisory signage only.
