You will need to comply with work health and safety requirements if you operate a business or workplace. WorkSafe Tasmania provides small and medium businesses in Tasmania with free and confidential safety assessments to help them develop and implement cost-effective safety strategies to suit their industry, operations and workplace. Advisers can help businesses make their operations and workplaces safer by:

  • providing practical tools to help identify workplace hazards
  • helping businesses implement solutions that are relevant, practical and affordable
  • assessing existing safety plans and policies
  • providing ongoing support and other information on business compliance.

WorkSafe Tasmania offices are located in Hobart, Launceston and Burnie.
