Permit to Take Native Flora - Tasmania


You will require this permit if you intend to keep or possess a specified protected plant, or land that contains a specified protected plant. This permit may not be granted if it is contrary to an existing management plan.

A list of protected plants is listed within the relevant threatened species legislation. Please consult the Contact Officer for more information.

There are restrictions on the availability of this permit due to the sensitive nature of Tasmania's native flora. Most successful applications for this permit will be for scientific and research purposes.
