Tobacco Seller's Licence - Tasmania

Description

You will require this licence if you intend to sell tobacco or tobacco products. Tobacco products include any cigars or cigarettes, any product that have tobacco as an ingredient, or any device designed or intended to be used with tobacco.

If you intend to sell tobacco products at more than one location, you will need to complete a separate application and pay the fee for each premises.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • provide details on the premises from which you intend to sell tobacco and related products
  • submit the required form
  • pay the required fee.

Only individuals, not companies, can apply for this licence. Please consult the Contact Officer for more information regarding eligibility requirements.
