Wheelchair-Accessible Taxi Licence - Tasmania

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to operate a wheelchair-accessible taxi (WAT) service. This licence authorises the vehicle to be hired within or between taxi zones that the licence relates too. Services may be offered to all taxi users, whether wheelchair-reliant or not.

This licence will be specific to your vehicle. You must not lease or assign this licence to another person. You may transfer the licence with the permission of the Agency. You do not have to drive the vehicle yourself, but you always remain responsible for the licence.
