This code is commonly known as the Circus Code. It sets out relevant requirements to be met if a site is to be occupied by a circus or carnival for short periods.

It covers areas such as: building and works, suitable site, noise, duration, operating hours, and sanitary facilities. This code promotes that a circus is to be a good and considerate neighbour to communities.
