Accreditation of a Course - Victoria

Description

If you intend to develop a course that is nationally recognised under the Vocational Education and Training (VET) system, it will need to be accredited.

Courses can only be accredited if their outcomes address skill requirements for industry, enterprises and / or the community, and are not covered in nationally endorsed training packages.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

There are seven stages involved in accrediting a course. To receive accreditation, you will need to provide evidence that you have completed all the stages.

Ongoing eligibility requirements

If your course accreditation is approved, you must demonstrate a method of ongoing monitoring that will be used to ensure that the course remains relevant.
