Accreditation to Create Energy Efficiency Certificates - Victoria

Description

You will require accreditation if you intend to create energy efficiency certificates. Energy efficiency certificates are given to businesses or industries when they undertake a prescribed energy saving activity. An energy saving activity reduces the amount of greenhouse emissions that would otherwise have been produced. These activities include:

  • modification of an appliance, structure or equipment that leads to a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions
  • replacement of a system or equipment that leads to a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions
  • purchase and installation of an appliance or equipment that has a lower greenhouse gas intensity than a comparable product
