You will need to comply with this Australian Design Rule (ADR) if you intend to manufacture a particular heavy combination vehicle. This rule applies to electrical wiring, connections and installations in certain road trains that are longer than 19 metres.
This ADR applies to:
- road trains (B-triples and combinations, other than B-double, consisting of a motor vehicle towing at least 2 trailers)
- semi-trailers
- dog trailers
- converter dollies.
