Agricultural Chemical Control Area Permit (ACCA) - Victoria

Description

This permit allows chemical use in an Agricultural Chemical Control Area (ACCA) that would otherwise be prohibited. ACCA's were established to protect herbicide sensitive and high value crops.

Restrictions apply to the types of herbicide in use, their method of application (such as aerial spraying or mister application) and the periods in which the chemicals can be used.

Ongoing eligibility requirements

All users of agricultural and veterinary chemicals, including ACUP holders, are required to keep specified records for all chemical products used within forty-eight hours of using the chemical product, and to keep these records for a period of two years.
