ANZAC Day Race Meeting Approval - Victoria

Description

You will need approval if you intend to hold a race meeting on ANZAC Day (25 April). No race, event or any sports are allowed to commence before 1:00 PM on that day without prior approval.

Restrictions apply to greyhound, harness and thoroughbred racing and race meetings.

To be eligible for this approval, you will need to also be appropriately authorised to hold the race meeting in question.

Ongoing eligibility requirements

You may need to provide a report of income and expenditure and details of any donations after the event, including details of where the profit was paid, or where the donation was paid. This is to be done within two months after the holding of the sports.
