Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail (ADG Code) - Victoria


You will be required to comply with this code if you intend to transport dangerous goods by road and rail. This code sets out mandatory technical requirements and guidelines for the land transport of dangerous goods. Dangerous goods are substances that may be corrosive, flammable, explosive, spontaneously combustible, toxic, oxidising, environmentally hazardous or water-reactive substances.

The legislation adopts this code as amended from time to time. Version 7.6 will only be valid until 30th June 2019.
