Description

Note that this standard has been updated and you will need to meet the requirements set out in Australian New Zealand Standard AS / NZS 1170.2:2021 Structural Design Actions - Wind Actions.

You will need to comply with this standard to construct an unregistrable movable dwelling or annexe, or install an unregistrable movable dwelling or annexe in a caravan park. This standard specifies design values of wind actions for use in structural design. It is intended to be used in conjunction with AS / NZS 1170.1, which gives the procedure for structural design. Wind speeds and direction factors are provided for a range of probabilities of exceedance.

Other factors cover the environment around the structure, the geometry of the structure and the dynamic interaction of the structure with the wind.
