Note that this standard has been updated and you will need to meet the requirements set out in AS/NZS 4680:2025 Hot Dip Galvanized Coatings on Fabricated Iron and Steel Articles - Specifications and Test Methods.
You will be required to comply with this Standard if you wish to galvanise a low voltage underground line.
It specifies requirements and tests for hot-dip zinc coatings on fabricated ferrous articles including structural steel, steel sheet fabrications, assembled steel products, fabricated tubes, fabricated wire work, steel forgings and stampings, ferrous castings and nails and other small components.
