This standard is comprised of three parts, dealing with:
- compressed gases other than acetylene
- cylinders for dissolved acetylene
- welded cylinders - insulated.
It specifies requirements for the verification, filling, handling, inspection, testing, and maintenance of refillable gas cylinders and for the storage and transport of compressed gases.
