Australian Standard AS 2030.1-2009 Gas Cylinders General Requirements - Victoria

Description

You will need to comply with this standard to design, verify and manufacture gas cylinders. Gas cylinders are a rigid vessel not exceeding 3000 litres in capacity, designed for the storage and transportation of gas under pressure.

This standard is comprised of three parts, dealing with:

  • compressed gases other than acetylene
  • cylinders for dissolved acetylene
  • welded cylinders - insulated.

It specifies requirements for the verification, filling, handling, inspection, testing, and maintenance of refillable gas cylinders and for the storage and transport of compressed gases.
