You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to operate a business that has a workshop in which vehicles containing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), or Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) are worked on.
The standard sets out workshop safety requirements for the following types of work:
- converting and equipping vehicles to use gas as an engine fuel
- maintaining, servicing and repairing of gas fuel systems
- routine motor vehicle maintenance not involving the gas fuel system.
